Sympathy
Hunter Cameron Lloyd, son of Kathlyn Cunningham, killed in a tragic car accident in Gardendale. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 16th at the Antioch Christian Church with interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Current Concerns
Alvie Adams began radiation treatments on Monday, August 11th.
Christopher Arbuckle, infant son of Michael and Jennifer Arbuckle, will be having surgery in Dallas on September 10, 2007.
Fran Arbuckle will be having cataract surgery on her left eye on August 21st at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Bill and Yolanda Carson are dealing with health issues. Bill is having problems from his angiogram and Yolanda has a virus.
Delora Wood had surgery on Wednesday, August 15th. She is back at home and doing well.
Kristin Lane went for tests with a cardiologist on Wednesday, August 15th.
Esperanza Munos, sister of Cecilia Bethune and great aunt of Barbara Martinez and Kristal Sanchez, is suffering from an infection in the esophagus and has COPD. She is having great difficulty breathing and not able to do any physical activity.
Lucinda Webster, sister of Cecilia Bethune and great aunt of Barbara Martinez and Kristal Sanchez, was thought to have had a stroke recently, but it turns out that she has Lou Gehrig's disease. She will begin to experience trouble swallowing and breathing along with muscle weakness or paralysis. She is already struggling with her speech.
Shandon Nutter, son of Rod & Charis Nutter, is struggling with some health problems. He is due to go back to the doctor next week.

Watch In Search of the Lord's Way with Mack Lyon every Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. on CBS, channel 7. This week's topic will be titled, "God Made Me Forget."
The Tipton Home will be here the week of August 27th. They have requested the following items: cereal, assorted soup, Miracle Whip salad dressing, Nestles Quick, hot chocolate mix, Bush's Baked Beans, wet wipes, Windex, and Crest toothpaste.
The New Mexico Children's Home will be here on September 4th. Some items they have suggested are: chicken broth, Spray N Wash, and salad dressings. Monetary donations are also accepted.
We are planning a fall gospel meeting on Saturday, September 22nd- Sunday, September 23rd. Watch out for further information as the date draws closer.
You are invited to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Carl D. and LaVern Neithercutt on Saturday, September 1st, at the MCM Grande Hotel Room C from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. No gifts please.

If you would like to contribute to the Jim Reyna's medical fund, you may use the special contribution envelopes on the table in the east foyer and place it in the tape order box or you can give your donations to the office staff or the elders. We will try to send whatever we have collected on September 17th.
