Are You Ready For Our Gospel Meeting?

For the past several weeks men of this congregation have been preparing for our fall gospel meeting on the theme "The Home As God Would Have It." We believe that these topics are timely and will be beneficial to all who attend. A lot has to be done to have a successful gospel meeting. Each person needs to be ready for the meeting or its success will be minimized.

Are you ready for our gospel meeting? Certainly, it would help us be ready for our gospel meeting if we have the right attitude. Remember, during our gospel meeting:

We are worshipping God. Normally, we don’t get to assemble eight times in a week-end to worship God and learn from His word. During our meeting, we’ll concentrate our time and energy in our worship to God.
It is a great way to encourage brethren. During our meeting brethren we’ll encourage the brethren in our congregation and brethren from other congregations.
We’ll enjoy spending time with people we love — Christians. It is a joy to be a Christian and we will enjoy being with one another to sing, pray, and study.
When the gospel meeting is over, we’ll be glad we went. Although it takes a lot of effort to attend a gospel meeting, it’s always worth it. We will feel stronger after the meeting is over, and we’ll be stimulated spiritually.
