Sympathy
We express our sympathy to the family of Shane Callendar, son of Glenna Callendar. Shane passed from this life on November 9, 2007. Services were held on Tuesday, November 13th at the Eisenhower Church of Christ.
Current Concerns
Erin Whitlock, the great niece of Lee Roy Bell, has begun her second round of chemo.
Junior Whitley has not been responding to the blood transfusions that he has received or the shots in his kidneys which is suppose to help his body produce blood. He is in a weakened state at this time.

FYI
We have received word regarding Doc King. He is in rehab at the Sterling City Home and is making progress. He is doing occupational,
physical, and some speech therapy. Within the next two or three weeks Doc will be moving to the Royal Estate Assisted Living Facilities in San Angelo, TX where his son lives. His temporary address is posted on the bulletin board if anyone would like to send him a card.
The title of Wednesday’s morning Bible Class lesson is entitled "Confess Sins To and Pray For One Another" (James 5:16).
There are more copies of Burt Groves’ commentary on Luke. They are $10.00 each.
We are still working on the CD’s for the gospel meeting. They should be ready in the very near future. Thanks for your patience!
Odessa Christian School needs a worker for the kitchen and gym from 11:00-2:00 for cleaning and lunch room duty. They also will do day care from 2:00 to 5:30. Pay is $7.90 per hour with Christmas vacation.
The New Mexico Christian Children’s Home will be conducting their "needs drive" on December 12th. Some items they have suggested are bar soap, beef broth, and chocolate chips. They also accept monetary donations that you can give to the office staff.
Youth
Please remember our youth as they travel to Cleburne for the Bible Search competition on November 16th and 17th.
Office News
The office will close at noon on Wednesday, November 21st and will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd in
observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Our food coordinators for the month of November are Christy Weakland and Keely McFarland.
