We want to express our sympathy to the family of Howard Smith. Howard passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2006. Services are pending at Hubbard Kelley.
Current Concerns Kayli Martell will be having gallbladder surgery on December 26. She will also be going to Houston soon for some intensive testing on other health issues.
Sydney Galvan will be having her adenoids and tonsils removed in addition to having tubes put in her ears on December 27.
Nell O Beth Willoughby will be having gallbladder surgery in the very near future.
Lawrence and Liz Collins, Hattie Mae Gilmore's brother and sister-in-law, have been sick.

Bill and Robbie Butler will be preparing a holiday dinner on Monday, December 25th in
the annex at noon. If you are interested in coming, please contact Bill or Robbie and don't forget to bring your
favorite dish or dessert.
We will be having a new year's fellowship on Sunday, December 31 immediately following the evening worship service. Please bring finger foods.
With regards to the Somebody Loves You Banquet and the Progressive Dinner, we will be doing things a little different this year. The two events will be combined along with a talent show. This event will take place on February 9th at the Slater Park Community Building located on the corner of 38th Street and Pleasant Avenue. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested in participating in the talent show needs to contact Sonia Wood. If you have any questions regarding this upcoming event please contact Lana Howard or Sonia Wood. We will post new information for this event as it comes available.
Mike Hisaw will be conducting a gospel meeting here on January 14th -16th. Please invite your family and friends. We will also be having a pot-luck luncheon following the morning service on January 14th. Please bring covered dishes.
Farewell Party for Lynn and Sherilyn Money on January 7, 2007 in the multi-purpose building at Sherwood Church of Christ immediately following the evening service. More information is provided on the bulletin board in the east foyer.
The Tipton Home truck will be in your area January 8th-10th. We will be glad to pick up any supplies you have collected for The Tipton Home. They have requested these items: corn meal, oatmeal, gallon zip lock bags, quart zip lock bags, cereal, salmon, Vienna sausage, plum jelly, Lime away, handy wipes, scrubbing bubbles, toilet bowl cleaner.

The office will be closed on Friday, December 22 through Monday, December 25th and Friday, December 29 through Monday January 1st in order to observe the holidays.
Please note the new office hours which will begin on December 11th. Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
